Safe - Clean - Colorful - Good Food - Unique - Good Bars - Friendly - Beautiful Scenic Bay. Most people won't even need a golf cart to get around. The ferry was only a 22 minute ride from Port Clinton. There is free parking a block from ferry & you can drop luggage off first by ferry. We enjoyed each & every place since we were there four nights. The whole town is a two-block square.
When we go back we'll definitely go back to the Old Forge Cafe. The crepes are yummy. The seating and service is fine and the meals arrived piping hot and delicious.

After spending a few hours at the winery, we stopped at the Goat Soup and Whiskey for dinner. We shared a couple appetizers. The pierogis were delicious! Also, our server was very friendly. We had walked to the winery and it's worth walking away from the "downtown" area to eat at Goat Soup.

We had the lobster bisque for an appetizer. Wonderful - large chunks of lobster and a very tasty cream soup. I wanted to overdose on lobster so I had the lobster roll. Very fairly priced and very good. Others had burgers, lobster mac & cheese, and crab cakes. All reported their meals were great. We'll look forward to returning.

Put-in-Bay, Ohio... it's a fun place to be; not far off either and convenient and happening. It has lots of options to do and spend some quality time. Water sports like any shoreline town, kayak, canoe, jet ski, rent a boat, parasail, and on and on. Or just lie in the parks and have a beautiful view of the mighty lake erie. Pool parties, sunday classic car parades, biplane rides... So much to do. Rent a golf cart for the day and you are set to explore the island. There is also a good variety of shops, pubs, and bars to grab a beer.
